99 busa plastic spacer

Hi. Just a quick question. My 99 busa has plastc spacers on top of the forks which are under the top rubber bushed yoke. Should these move a few millimetres or should they be solid against the yoke. Mine moves about 2mm up and down. Thanks Tam.

So can you see the 'plastic spacer' on this diagram? If so, quote the number.

I pushed mine up tight against top tree

I believe he is talking about number 6. I just lowered mine, and noticed them to have fallen from the tree during the install. I pushed them all the way up to the top of the tree and tightened them there.
