8 Killed spectating a Drag Race last night

Right here in my town. Still waiting to find out all the names. Everyone's been waiting for our track to re open 3/1. (MIR in Budds Creek MD) This is just crazy.
My heart goes out to anyone connected to this tragedy

No, the white sedan was a fool who came thru following the race (Drag race on the street) with no headlights on & plowed into the spectators..

it's sad, but at the same time it pisses me off when poeple and the media call that Drag racing. Gives the guys that do it the right way (track) a bad name and it's going to hurt a good sport.

sorry for those that died.... just another reason why racing belongs at the track and not on the street!!!!!!!

what a shame , my condolences to all involved. thats why we have drag strips. go where they are ready for any mis-cues. they {dragstrips} are legal and cheap, compared to takimg innocent lives. yes i know people die at tracks also but not nearly as often.
