At a thousand feet you are less than 6 seconds from the ground, and the last 4 ain't gonna matter...

Those big wave surfers are absolutely nuts. I've seen a nose vid of the board and those big waves are sooooooo choppy a lot of the time, I can't imagine. Go down at the wrong time and you're dead in seconds.
