600 mile service?

What is involved in the 600 mile service for my 07 if I take it to a dealer to do it? Will they do anything that I can't do at home? I've got front and rear stands, torque wrench, craftsman tools, the tool kit that came with the bike and the owner's manual. I'm sure I can change the oil and clean the air filter. Is there anything else I would need to do?

Do it yourself. Chainge oil and filter. Check cables, brakes, fluids, ..etc. Just give it the once over to assure all is good.

The dealer will want a fortune to basically change you oil/filter and probably damage your plastic or something else.

If you do it yourself, just save the receipts for the oil and filter for any future warranty issue.
