500 Mile Ride Tomorrow To See The Kawabusa !

This will be my 2nd time to see the 1st Kawabusa in person . Delivering a bare ZRX1200 head to the owner
for some build he has going on another project . I have always had a love for both the ZRX / Hayabusa .
These pictures are from lunch a few years ago shortly after the Kawabusa was purchased from Jesse James .
Ill say if you have never seen this bike up close pictures just dont do it justice . Tomorrow Ill get some
better ones than these two for you guys

Local bike to me (Qld / NSW border Australia)
1980 GSX1100ET or similar with the GSX14 engine (1402cc) fitted.

A lot harder to do than it looks.
The 14 motor is wider across the cases than any of the GS / GSX / GSXR family and only go's in with frame surgery and widening to the lower cradle.

I love the original Kawabusa, sure the B-King has an alloy frame, radial brakes and no ugly gap behind the motor but the Kawabusa looks brilliant and doesn't suffer from a stupid little tank, lack of legroom, piss poor pillion seat, silly key in the tank etc.

463 miles today , and it only got up to 102 degrees What a awesome day . To see the Kawabusa , and to watch it fly the front wheel over n over . The bike is quiet quick ! Steve thanks for showing of the bike today

Random pictures from today Paul on the Yamaha also has a ZRX1200R Chris / Gerry / Steve all live in the Austin area while Paul , and I rode out from south Houston .
