The festivities started on Friday and will continue until the wee hours tonight.
Fireworks are huge here(Florida) and it's like a war zone at times.
I'm all about fun and celebration but I feel we as a people are forgetting the real reason and purpose of Independence day. Now off to the BBQ...

Went to Wood's Veterans Cemetery and VA grounds today.
It was HOT and HUMID, but just wanted to see the cost of freedom.

Remember that freedom is not free.
