44 tooth sprocket

I got a deal on a 44 thooth sproket with a 530 chain availabe. It came off a busa so it will fit mine, the question is will the stock chain be long enough to work rather than putting the 530 on? why do more than i need to

I think 43 is the biggest sprocket you can run with a stock length chain unless you have a 16 counter sprocket

I'm running an 18/43 on my '04, so 17/44 should be possible. I have almost no (about 1/16") adjustment left, but 17/44 should take slightly less chain length.
