2nd run, 60'-2.02/010.62@137

3rd run, 60'-1.89/10.43@138

4th run, 60'1.80/10.26@138

leaving around 2-3k, the bike was how it was when i bought it; no changes yet. question tho where should i be shifting this bike "sweet spot" i was shifting at red line... have not been back to the track since. within the meantime i have done the small airbox mod, and pair mod. I'm alot more comfy on the bike now i should be able to put some better numbers up..:please:

OK last night had the front straps, foam cut from seat, foot shifting no stretch, and a bald battleaxe. i have come to find out I have the infamous Gen1 second gear problem.
First run,

1st. 60'-1.79/10.37@136 shifted into second and popped into neutral.

2nd. 60'-1.68/9.91@141 bouncing off the limiter of first.

3rd. 60'-1.68 aborted run due to second gear pop out.

4th. 60'-1.64 aborted run due to second gear pop out.

I called it a night after that...

Well in spite of having second gear issues, your doing good on getting those 60' times down. Your knocking on low 1.60's and maybe some high 1.50's. That ain't bad at all for swb  Is the bike lowered at all?

back is lowered 1.25" front was strapped. but it seemed like the strap was coming loose every pass, normal? it didn't do that on my 750.

went my fastest on the bike yesterday with a bad 60', a full tank of gas. so far mods are as of small air box mod, pair elm mod, brocks alien head full, lowered and a bald battle axe tire.

Those are some good short times for SWB with a bald tire. Put a Shinko U-soft on the back and you'll se low 1.6X 60 ft times.
