The book says 600 for 1st and 4000 for 2nd... is that what people here recommend? To change the oil, etc. again at 4000? Just wondering... thanks.

I never take my oil to the limit. I usually change about every 3,000. Believe it or not, I can hear a smoother engine and smoother shifting after the change.

I change my oil about every 1000 miles. Probably a little on the obsessive side, but oh well.

im going with every 2000 miles but 95% of my miles are highway, infact that is what i am getting ready to do here this morning..
