2021 Pashnit Touring on a Hayabusa

Four penstocks from Hetch Hetchy Reservoir feed into Moccasin Powerhouse
Rain was starting up and time to put the camera away and button down the hatches for rain riding. An hour away from home base, it started to downpour - we got about 4 inches of rain at my place. Horse to Barn, no pics for that segment, we can use the rain. Arrived home safe and sound. Time for winter maintenance and a new set of tires. And to plan the next year of travels.

Well kids, that wraps up our 2021 ride season.
Hope you enjoyed that as much as I did. Over 3000 photos posted here, hope you enjoyed the ride-along and the 58 pages of pics. Kudos to you if you stuck with all 58 pages of photos and a season of riding. Led 11 tours this season, which works out to about riding 12,000 miles this year, plus spent about a month on the road cumulative.
Coincidently, today, Dec 15, is my 50th birthday.
I starting doing these guided tours at 32 years old, seems a lifetime ago. After 18 years, still on a Hayabusa. My ‘08 Busa never missed a beat. Just start it and go! Oil and tires. The bike will be almost 15 years old by next year.
Would love to end up buying a Gen-III next year, (see predictive thread) and modifying that for sport-touring duties.
I shot about 6000 photos this season which works out to about 500 per weekend. The reason for so many shots is, early this season, a friend recommended a Speed Sling. Best purchase ever, the camera rests under my arm, and it’s always there to take shots while riding. I’m carrying up to four cameras with me normally on a ride, that helps too to get a lot of shots, but I prefer the big camera. Special thanks to Doug for allowing me to post a zillion pictures here.
My buddy Tom made this one video this 2021 season that is just amazing. He did a great job on this.
