i want to reflash the ecu to remove restrictions but the local (an hour away) tuner hasnt done a 14 not sure if the ecu software is the same any know of this or an inexpensive way of diy?

The 08 to 14 ecu's are all the same.
The 13/14 model has a separate control unit for the ABS.

for a 13+ you will need an additional harness, type 4a, the 13+ busa no longer has a 8 pin yosh connector under the seat, the 4a harness adds it back onto the bike. I have them if you need one.

So what would i need to have a kit capable of connecting to a 12 and a 13 model??

Are the harnesses on your site? or is it best to just contact you when ordering
I don't have the 4a harness on my site, you could just click this link and add $25 and type 4a harness in description, do that before checking out and it will add it in Misc. Payments Here

if he already has a setup for a 08-12 busa, all you would need is the 4a harness
