200mph On A Cbr900?,,, No Way!

This happened about an hour away from us.
There is no way he was going anywhere near 200.
I use to have a CBR954 and it wouldn't come close to 180, let alone 200, no matter how long the throttle was held open.

How old is that video? Bikes are running mid-6 quarter miles at well over 200 now. Frankie won the KOTS event in Chicago and even made me a few bucks betting on him. Hated to bet against the Busas but I’ve seen Stotz Racing since his dad was the rider.

BIG difference in CBR1k and old 900.
The 1k has what, 50 more hp, roughly 160...which would be around the 900's top speed.
