2008 Brake Light wire Location ?

For a 2008 : Can anybody tell me where I can splice into the rear brake light wire ? Adding an additional Brake Light that Blinks . Thanks, busatim

Do you have the tail bodywork off the bike. If so you should have had to unplug 2 connectors to get it off. The smaller 2 wire connector is for the license plate light and the larger connector is for the brake light. I have a service manual for the 08 I can take a look in that and find out exactly.

According to the book it says you can access it from underneath the tail by removing the rear fender, but I would just remove the tail section to get at it. Its pretty easy to do.
I believe its a 4 wire whit connector its located at the very rear in the "trunk"area ya mite not be able to get to it unless the tail or that fender is removed. I hope this helps ya.
