When I was looking for wifey's bike I found a bogus add. I called about 7:30 am to hop on this deal. This guys son was going acroos seas. He just wanted to get rid of the bike. It was close to 2k below blue book, before all the mods.
Anyway I called as soon as I got to work. They answered. I told them I was interested in buying the bike. He said "what bike" I said the one listed on craigslist(Hayabusa). He said " I don't have a bike for sell, he!! I don't even have a bike. Maybe you have the wrong number". Bummer
Ok I tell my boss I need and hour off to take care of something.( I had written the number down on a piece of paper, thinking I jotted it down incorrectly. I get home pull the add up. The number was correct! From the first time I call to the sceond time was maybe an hour. he said he had over 50 calls from that one add.
Maybe someone was p'd off with him and that was payback.
