2006 Hyabusa - Cranks won't start

Ok, tomorrow I'll have several hours to work on the motor.

I did have a chance to take the battery to the shop and it is fine. I really wished it was just the battery.

  • I traced the O/W wire back to the Vacuum control solenoid and I have 12v there.
  • I also tapped into the Grey wire at the ignition coils and i have 12v there also.
  • Fuel pump is priming, I can hear it and I can see the fuel pressure on the gauge.
  • The Y/G wire. No power to it until the key is on. Maintains 12v when the key is on.
  • Fuel pump - When the key is turned on and it primes, 12v.

Here is the thing, at every 12v connection, does not matter if it is the grey ignition wire, O/W wire at the control solenoid, or fuel pump. Every time I depress the starter button it goes form 12v down to 9.5v.
Battery is fully charged when this happens. I have the battery back on a charger for the moment since I've been running it down.

Could it be the crankshaft position sensor?

Just tossing this up here.
