2005 Cluster on 2000 hayabusa

My buddy go in a little accident this pass summer on is 2000 busa, as we r rebuilding the bike where are trying to fine a 99 to 01 cluster "hard to fine in Km/h". So I found a 2005 Cluster. I know the ECU from 99 to 01 is different from the 02 to 07, installing the 05 cluster to a 2000 ECU will it be compatible?

It will work, but you will have to change some of the pin locations.
Which ones I'm not sure.
You can download the manuals and print the wiring diagrams of each, and change the pin locations accordingly.
