If my ECM is bad how can I tell. The only issue I’m having with the bike is it’s not charging the battery. Meaning, when I put the meter on the battery while it’s running and rev to 5K the voltage doesn’t change. I’m reading up on how the check the stator/rectifier to see if they are bad. Any tips will help. Especially testing these parts (stator/rectifier).

Why would you think the ECU is bad? It's either the stator or rectifier if the battery is known to be good and the voltage isn't climbing as you rev it. Rectifier is easier and cheaper.

I was reading the service manual and if the stator and rectifier were good then it could also have a bad ecu. I’m trying to figure out how to test the stator and rectifier. Reading the manual is like reading the “king James version “ of the Bible.
