Recently purchased a set of Pilot Powers from a friend of mine who runs the parts dept of a Suzuki dealership. He asked me if I wanted the OEM tire (to what I don't know) or the non OEM tire. He said that the non OEM tire was a better tire as it was built to Michelins Specs and not a bike manufacturers, something like that. Anyway the non-OEM was about $15 higher, of course. There must be some difference or both tires would not be listed. Both had pictures that looked the same and both said Pilot Powers, just one had OEM added. Check out which tire you are getting when you purchase them. I saw this for myself in the catalog so I know it to be true. I will try and find out what bike comes with the PP/OEM tire and specs on it vs the non OEM tire and post the info.
