I live close to the center of Ohio. I got the R6 to Indiana once, but it HURT. :(
I had been planning on smaller trips to make it to all the surrounding states. Not on a tour. Not really riding with someone or going somewhere particular. Just one day make it to a border state and back, just for...well..???

I heard the road I was thinking of going to go to PA on was crap. (State Route 39..its "okay" till Berlin Ohio)
I just serviced the busa. I thought I would go up and check the road out before I actually took the trip. I was looking for a good road to do a big loop back to the house.
I got so close I just bit the bullet and went for it. No extra gear. Cell phone half dead. Cheapo camera. Not much else.
I rode to Raccoon Creek State Park in PA. The pictures I tried to get are junk and the pictures I was just fooling around with the camera turned out ok.

About 380 miles round trip. About 2 hours after I got back, I was ready for another 400 miles.
