190 crank horsepower for a Gen 1

I was doing some research, and I found this post on this forum. This post is about 12 years old but I wanted to know if it was possible to get 190 crank horsepower with this mod list?

stock bore, stock pistons
Lees ported head, shaved for a slight bump in compression
bored throttle bodies
intake cam mod
Full Akra exhaust
PC3
Small box mod
BMC filter

Yes. If you have the head and cam already, use them, if not there are other options. Any decent head and a set of Yosh drop in cams combined with a good exhaust and tune should get you there.

the diagram shows nice power - fine - yes

one question only i have :
how much $$ did you sink into this / your project ?

but my dear - this horse power is never sufficiant to leave a bugatti veyron on the track / highway behind you.

based on this knowledge i leave my haya as it is and spend the money for maintenance (and chassis parts)

I don’t remember off the top of my head been a few years. They aren’t high compression but I think a little over stock. Had 2 get cylinders resleeved and done with that nickel cadmium
