190/55 vs. 190/50

Need new tires and was thinking about using the 50 series instead of the 55's. I know the height will be a little shorter but are there any ill effects from that or will a 50 work OK. Thanks for any info,

the 190/50 is the stock tire on a busa. with out the 55 profile you will notice the bike does not fall into the corners as quick but over all not much of a difference

You won't notice any difference. As stated above, the stock tire is a 50 series and with the 55 series you speedo will display a slower speed and your throttle response will be a bit slower but as far as the ride, you can't tell the difference unless you are a very, VERY skilled and well schooled jockey!

My fault; I should have double-checked my size. Some reason I was thinking 55 was factory. Thanks anyway,

I have run 190/50's for years & finally got a 190/55 Pilot Power 2CT. To me it didn't make a difference. Just went back to the 190/50.
