Yes,I removed them. Sound is really good especially low rpms

i have the stainless with carbon cap model on my Yellow 13'.........managed to get the clamps on the inside of the footrests and really neatens up the rear width by pulling the cans in by about an 1" on each side.

I love the subtle yet in your face note they have .... really suits the bikes nature.

I so sorry to answering your question late. It's really so simple to remove stock silencers.
