Okay, the Mensa minds of the world have said that the recent quake has reduced our daylight hours by 1.26 nano secs.
So, with less daylight I am thinking we will be reaching a cooling trend, only seems logical, right?
So now we go from global warming to cooling?

I guess I should call it first and cry "THE NEXT ICE AGE IS COMING".

In about 10,000 eons I will be right, just you wait and see.

Cool,
Bubba

I thought I felt a little less rested this morning when I woke up...

I think I'll stick around to see if you are right.
(Guess I better take back that new air conditioner?)

The quake was strong enough to shift the earths axis !
That is what caused the loss of time .
The shift of the axis caused the earths diameter to shrink and this allows it to now spin faster. Since it spins faster the day is shorter .

Imagine one ten times stronger may actually as they say affect gravity .
We could all become 100lbs heavier or lighter ?

The days are shorter by .XXXXXXX%, but there will also be .XXXXXXX% more of them over a set standard period of time. It should all even out in the end.

Like Blanca Busa said, the earth is just spinning faster, so tomorrow will get here a bit sooner.

We'll all be living on Mars in 2,000 years, anyways.
