08 vs 09 busa's..

Hey all.. new to the site..


i'm looking at getting a busa.. either 08 or 09... I know parts wise its like 99-07, and 08-09.. however from the 08 to 09 model - were there any big changes to the bike? engine? chassis? weight? I'm trying to compare which model to start looking into.. but if I find out the 08's had issues or were re-done in a large way i'd rather just go with the 09.. thanks for the replies

Oh - by the way.. I've been riding for almost 9 years now, have had a Ninja ZX6r (first bike) and then 4 years later moved up to a 2003 GSXR 1000. This would be a second bike on top of the 1k... so this is not a first bike or anything like that... and I am mature enough to handle the power of the busa.

There were a few changes, yea. I don't think anything major. Maybe an HP or 2. I'll look for the list or someone may post it up sooner than me.

Everyone knows, although you will find that few will admit, 05 red/black is the fastest color!!
