08 Price

I got a qoute from a dealer for a new 08 for 11,900 out the door, what do you guys think, personally it seems a little high.

"Out the door" means different things in different states. Does that include taxes and license plates in your state? Do you have a breakdown of the numbers?

I paid the taxes on my 06 last month so I can transfer the tag, that price includes taxes.

I'd shop around, but there are lots of places selling for that price. Several places in NC selling for about $400 less.

I checked with Dal Kawa on that price, you got any ideas on anyone else.

Check with Sport Cycles in Rockingham or the dealers in Lumberton, Fayetteville, or Sanford.

Problem right now is that the shops are selling bikes like hotcakes. With gas prices up people are flocking to motorcycles. My dealership guy was telling me right now his warehouse is emptied, and the floor is only 1/3 full. They can't keep motorcycles in. But they can't sell the ATV's right now...

Don't expect a huge break on price unless you can really bargain.

Yeah I saw that one but at the time I wasn't sure what my insurance was gonna give me, it was a hell of a deal.
