08 Polished frames

I have been lerking on and off this board for a couple years now. I have been looking at some pictures on this board and other places and I see some bikes with polished frames. Do some of these 08s come with a polished frame?

Or are you guys polishing the frames?

Are you guys just polish the part that you can see? or the whole thing? I dont think I would want to take the engine out to polish the whole thing .. that would take along time to do.

The 08's come with black frames, local dealer charges 400 bucks to polish out the frame and the only part polished is what is visible, Ive had my frame polished and it looks pretty good and I touch it up maybe every other month or so

huge pain in the butt, ill never do it again. im moreinto the paint and color chrome these days....just my .02

You dont want to go down that road. Spend the dineros and get it chromed.
