In the oil filter relocation thread. Bo_ does a good job in laying out the oil change procedure. I took some pics last night when I did mine. Hopefully some will find useful. This first pic is the back lower part of the fairing. It is tabbed, I may have forgot to include fasteners in the fastener pics.

Here is a blurry pic of the small fastener in the upper left hand corner of pic

Here is the hole where I took out the larger fastener, near the radiator.

This seam is tabbed, it was the point I worked with LAST when removing the fairing, and the point I inserted FIRST when re-installing the fairing.

Layout of fasteners, I think some are missing from step one, the tabbed section in front of the rear wheel?

Draining my 520 mile dark looking oil. Manual says change at 600 miles.
Learned the aluminum foil trick here.

Pre filled my oil filter 3times! before element was saturated. A very nice thing to do for your engine.

Keep me honest, let me know if I missed anything. Thanks to Bo_ for his help. Pic of my Slider.

Nice pics of fairings and how they bolt on. Every thread I see in here about an "08 makes me want one more!!

Nice Job! This will helpful when I change my oil in the next few days. I am just a little under 600 and I am sure my regular riding days are about to come to an end here in Minnesota.

So the '08 still requires that entire fairing to be removed? That's my biggest complaint about the first generation Busas. I was really hoping from the initial peek at the new bikes and what I'd assumed needed to be removed that oil changing would be easier

Great directions though...should provide great help to our new '08 owners
