06 Shutting Off Intermittently ......

06 Busa , stock ,runs great. Rolling down highway a few weeks ago and bike shut off. Pulled over, fired
right up. Found out , when bike shuts off at speed ,if I kept throttle cracked slightly bike would jump itself
off after 3 to 5 seconds. Yesterday I rode 100 miles, never happened. This morning rode 20 miles and
did it three times. Totally intermittent over last three weeks. Checked battery terminals, clean,posts tight.
Battery less than 3 months old . Thinking bad electrical connection or short at ignition switch or
kill switch. Any suggestions or thoughts.....thanks

My guess would be the same as yours. Do you lose dash lights or get the check on display like the kill switch is flipped?

Check to make sure the tip over sensor has not come loose, will cause that very issue.

Maybe kickstand switch. Have heard of people having weak springs and takes pressure off the switch.

No lights, everything goes black.

Then I would guess that it is ignition switch. You may also check your battery cables and your main ground. If your losing all power then your bike thinks that it is being shut off or something is losing conection.

Adding to what nosbig has said; does your clock reset itself after a shut off incident?
If it does it's power/ground related, if not it is something else.
