02 for an 05

i am new to this so sorry if i done something wrong .
i have an 2002 with about 20,000 mile on it and the motor is dead

so i went out and found another motor for it but the only problem is that the motor i i found is a 2005 i would like to know if there is any thing i have to do to it to make it run some one told me a few things like ...... put my old fule rails on new motor and a few other things is this true does any one have any thing to say about this change over from and 2002 to a 2005 who will it work  


any help i would owe the world too out

So..umm...WHAT is the average lifespan of a busa engine? I mean, 20k miles and its dead? I would hope I could get at least 50k out of my engine.

I have over 25,000 on my '05 and its still running strong.

Some people have close to 100,000 on their motor, sounds like yours wasnt taken care of... did you buy it used??

Had about 33000 on a 2001 i sale to a friend.. he's still rollin the hell out of it.. change that oil... it the life blood.
