01 new tank on 99or00

I was curious what it would take to mount a 01 and newer tank on my 00 since i already have a tank and a fuel pump from a 02 what other items would i need? is it a do the trottle boddies or other items need to be swapped out for it? ecm?

Or mabey is it something i shouldn't even consider?

I'm not sure of the specifics.. But, it was my understanding these were like oil and water. You can't mix the two. I'm sure someone will post up soon reminding us of all the painfull details as to the "whys" and "whynots"...

Yeah i did a search and didn't have much luck i know of a guy that did it but haveing a hard time getting ahold of him is the only thing it's just an idea make it easier if i wanted to do some plastic swapping between my 00 and 02

well for starters hawai the fuel pump systems are diffrent the 01 and newer has the internal fuel pump where as the 99 and 00 had external and i think there are some other plumbing issues that may be involved
