1999 Busa from Finland

Here we go again

General Information

Secont Busa I owned the first one more than ten years ago, the best bike I've ever owned. Sure it's old, not original etc. but I love the way it handles, goes, sounds and most of all the beautifull Design.

You know the '99 model was the best right?
Their only issue was the external fuel pump...but once that's overhauled it's back to fully reliable. I've done all the essential and non-essential maintenance service items on my '99, including rebuilding the OEM rear shock and forks, and it's like a new bike again!
You will have miles of smiles on yours, the motors are bullet proof and just a gorgeous bike overall, yours looks great in black too!
Congrats, Kiwi Rider!

Thank you. The bike has not been ridden much in recent years and I got it really cheap. I thought if it turns out to be a bomb, I'll make a garden gnome out of it.. But the bike seems pretty good, I managed to ride it in the fall for about a thousand kilometers before the snow came and the bike seems to be in good condition despite a few small things. The fuel pump has already been replaced. I've given the bike a pretty comprehensive service and checked and cleaned it thoroughly, the only faults so far have been a leaking seal on the clutch work cylinder, low charging voltage which was fixed by cleaning and tightening the connectors. and worn front wheel bearings. Of course, I also changed the old tires for safety reasons. As well as Brake pads in front.

This is not the first Busa I have owned, the previous one was a k6 model that I bought new and drove it myself for 30,000 kilometers without any problems. The only problem at that time was the driver.. Well, it's been more than ten years and I believe and hope that today I can drive a little more calmly
