Hayabusa Porn Top Speed Run 190 MPH

What
“curves” ?

Believe me when I tell you that accelerating from 165 ~ turns that little kink in the highway into curves *

Look close enough to Grape Ape Newman's speed-o-meter ~ you will see 165 miles per hour rolling through the curves *

All i see when I look close enough is several guys without mirrors. That makes it actually really retarded for me...especially when I think about how much I "need" my mirrors when I ride- even for speeding and checking for cops...

Dang Red,
spell it out
for them
why don't ya ? !

Over here officer,
this is where we speed . . .

I bet if you check my phone . . .

Laugh my A$$ off !

Do not think for a moment we did not have FUN ~ some of my friends enjoy triple digit blasts on that road •

And if you came to visit California I am sure 165 would give you a rush too •

It would...it does here.
And I agree on those high speed curves, it's suprising how many curves show up at high speed, that you never really notice doing the speed limit.

Not sure where you looked because all of those street bikes had mirrors ~ this little bike was stripped down to go fast *

Harder with this beastie than with my Bandit (which is top heavy in it's own right)

Nope...it's still in your head.
The Busa handles better than the Bandit too, not in opinion, but by design.
You see the video, you see what the bike can do...now go do it, that simple.
If You say You can't, You won't.
Otherwise, relax and make the Busa do whatever you want it to.
Worst case, you fall over at 10mph and get some scratches, and hurt your pride, no worse than falling over parked.
The Busa handles As Good as a 1k, outside of it's pyhsical limitations, a little wider and heavier, and longer. Not really noticable until you really push the Busa's limits, while trying to keep pace with a faster guy on a 1k.
Or the weight at low speed, it's noticeable, but the pig has a good center of gravity and overall design.
You can literally drag the stock mufflers and stay upright.
Squash any self concieved notions the busa has given you so far, find a parking lot, and low speed it like ya stole it.
I'de try 32psi cold, front/rear, and let them warm to 34, set and dial in the sag if you haven't yet, and be amazed at how well you can dance with a fat girl.

Low speeds (parking lots and such) the Bandit wins no contest, wide bars helps with this. I took it through the motorcycle training tests to show the students they could do the tests on the smaller bikes if I could do them on the 1200. Bandit comes into torque curve at lower rpm too which makes it tractor like at low speeds. Busa likes to rev.

It's previous owner (z1000) set it up for cornering and I have the suspension re-set for me. It handles good, I've had it almost down to the pegs in a few twisties. He actually had it set up to be a blast to ride, and I have it set up the same way, it has been professionally tuned on a dyno.

Not saying it can't be done but it is a challenge-one I'm not willing to take, I have no interest in falling down and damaging it.

It does handle better than my Gixxer 750 did.

Weighting the outside peg is always a good thing as is ‘being on the throttle’ even if ever so slightly. Letting off the throttle in a tight turn can cause the flop over we’re all trying to avoid. Having said that, it doesn’t like hairpins, especially downhill. Me neither!

That and counter steering I found...

I know the Bandit is a torquey, low revving bike, but that's the 2nd time I've heard you say the Busa likes to rev, and I laugh.
No disrespect, just when I think " likes to rev", I think 600, or 2-stroke.
The stock Busa's red line and throttle pull seem endless..but only for a second if you nail, but it still has torque low down.
Just different opinions probably from riding lots of different things.:beerchug:
