It’s not a bad bike, but like the new Kat it’s a detuned 13 year old GSXR1000 motor. A great alternative to a Kwak Z1000, but no where near the Supernakeds from BMW, KTM and Aprilia. Personally I like it, it’s got plenty of go if your behaving, but it’s not that aggressive when you want to hit hard, but I’d rate the MT-10 higher.
Interestingly there is a VERY expensive aftermarket 1200cc / 200hp conversion that shows what it could have been. Although it’s based on the old K5 K6 engine it’s not a simple bolt on retune. It has physical differences.
