It’s a new, four year old unsold offered for 7K. Pretty huh, 1,140 ccs but 540?

I recall a horrid old sexist saying concerning Honda , it went ' better ya sister in a whorehouse , than your brother on a Honda ':p:laugh::)
What about a current model Triumph , Wuzza , have you looked at any of them at all . The Honda's weight I think comes from the steel frame , the exhaust , the front / rear guards , twin shocks , steel swingarm etc. . Probably be a nice low to moderate speed commuter as is though .

There is one local for sale , and I always loved this bike . Thought it would be a great upgrade for my wife from her 600 due to she likes the naked style bikes . I went to look at it , and was shocked the effort to pick up off side stand . It is quiet heavy . This was new old stock @ Honda dealer with no fuel in it . With only 89 hp / 67 Tq @ 10,999 original msrp I see why they were a hard sell . Now they seem to be selling for $6,999 , and they are 2 years old . I think her Bandit is going to be hard to replace with all the mods , 81 hp , and 44 Tq weighing in at 450 wet

Looks good, even the retro standard looks good, very close to the original 903 Z1. But, it’s $4,500 more than the heavy weight Honda, at least now that they can’t sell them at their original MSRP.

A mate of mine has an older motor CB1100F fitted up to a braced CB900F , feature Macintosh swingarm , Ohlins conventional 43mm fork with Brembos ,Dymag 3 spokes , Agras triples , woodcraft rearsets , Ohlins twin shocks , Striker hand bent exhaust , Keihens CR smoothbores , and mild engine work . Basically a Freddie Spencer replica .

This got me thinking. The Bike I had in High School (wish I still had it) was a 1978 Suzuki GS750E. I just read that that thing was listed at 557LB's wet! I took some of that off with the Kerker header and K&N pods but man...

New release where? Everywhere but here? That’s what usually happens it seems.
This has been going on for decades now. When I was a kid we would ride up to Canada just to see the new bikes (1984 GSXR750 comes to mind) that were not deemed suitable for the US Market. Unfortunately for the Canadians that is no longer the case and they just get the same stuff we get now. Suzuki never say fit to bless us with the GSX-1400 and I always liked that thing. What if???
