Drain hose junk

There is a hose on top of the clutch cylinder that has a cap. When I occasional take off the cap water and some yellow goo flows out, smells like burnt oil. I think its from the oil separator.

Don't know why this happens, and what causes this, is there any performance issues I should know off if I don't release it frequently? Note that I tend to ride in rain a lot, so I guess some of it collects in there:whistle:

Are you referring to the clutch bleeder? If so, I don't think it should have any spooge coming out on it's own. The bleeder valve may be loose?

lol mine don't have that!!

How is possible that others don't have it? it's in the manual! So either my bike is unique or they forgot to instal any for the others?

I'm confused! Now I'm thinking if it's not such a good idea to have one of those catch cans, see if it can be plugged.
I have to see another busa to be sure.

It is only 99 and 00 models that i have seen!
It is part of the crank case vent system!

I guess it's similar to the CCV valves in cars. On my car if the CCV's are ripped or damaged, they don't idle properly, causing smoke in the exhaust and head gasket leaks.
