How do you like them or compare them to galfer? Did u buy them on eBay and what is the seller user name? I was looking at a set front and rear chalfers for 250 shipping included.

The forks are RT's from 2003, As well as i have installed Ohlins superbike valving also!
thats true. just as Ohlins front forks are not the same as their higher end versions.

man thats a lotta coin on calipers. I just dont know if I can justify the spending of that much money on something that works pretty dam good the way it sits. im aware of a couple of bikes that go 7's and still use the stock brakes. they sure do look purdy tho.... I agree on the master cylinder upgrade as well.

Dont remember the seller cause it was a while back. I love them but I cannot compare them to the Galfer. They worked spectacular in 40, 50, and 60mph braking drills at the california superbike school course i took.

But to be serious here, the best upgrade for a Gen 1 busa, is any rotors of your choice, as well as brake lines, and finally, a good radial master cylinder!

+1

Here is a man who understands brakes! Wave Rotors are not going to make any substantial difference over your OEM rotors. Wave Rotors were designed to shed water on dirt bikes that spent a lot of their time in wet conditions. I can tell no difference in braking between OEM and Wave rotors. Road Racers whom I've discussed Wave Rotors with say the same.

Here is mine. Braketech SS rotors, ZX14R Nissin Brake Calipers, Galfer HH 1375 Brake Pads, HEL Braided Brake Lines, Brembo 19x20 Radial Brake Master Cylinder and of course Ohlins Forks and Rear Shock. I also use a Galfer Rear Brake Rotor as well.

So is Galfer the way to go for an upgrade?

Honestly, it is just what you are most confident with and your price range. I didn't get an increase in performance with a change in rotors alone. I only bought new rotors for a nicer look to be honest

Rotors $660
Calipers $1550
I also have both master cylinders, from Brembo too

Its not a cheep upgrade but very well worth it!

I was curious about the brembo on the clutch side. Is there any difference in feel? What did you do about the switch? Hydraulic switch?

It is much better feel over stock, much more of a finer feel.
As for the switch, you need a hydraulic one.

I have a Braking Front wave rotor/EBC HH's coupled with a titanium bolt kit and Brembo calipers/Master cylinder doing the stopping.........

Can you get those rotors with black carriers and black buttons? Hmmm...???

Wow. I really like those gold wheels. I have been thinking og getting gold wheels and Galfer waves for quite a while. What brand are those wheels, Carrozzeria or Marchesini? And what color is your bike?
