i came of a 02 Tl1000r hump was known for coming off, just used to being cautious so i installed one on the busa also. i take it the busa does'nt have this problem huh

And the cable will scratch the tail section sides. Line it with fur. Or you could just be careful and NOT DROP THE HUMP.

Clever, Id use something less abrasive for just dropping it while it being handled. If it comes off while riding, well, Bye:laugh:

u guys have to realize i was coming of a tlr 1000, and that was my 1st bike , it was known for loosing it's hump. wasn't sure if the busa had the same issue, nor was i going to wait to find out. it's designed to hold the hump incase it falls of while in motion,, ex highway speeds, twisties.

I would have worked out why it was coming off and fixed it.

If someone is shooting at me, I dont order extra bandages....

you could also buy the cord with the protective plastic around the cable. like the one u see in the pic. i guess it's a mute issue if our bikes don't have this problem.

It is not something you see with the busa, I know the TL issue (my buddy used to get really pissed), but the busa hump is really secure.

Well thanks for the thought but we dont have that problem with the busa. If it falls is probably cause you didnt latch it down.
