Just a couple pics from the tour last weekend. I posted up about 400 photos on my forum and that takes me about 4 hours & don't have that kind of time right now. NorCal is sport-touring paradise so what a pleasure it is to be able to show fellow riders around. 14 of us on this Pashnit Tour. :) Our general tour route runs from San Francisco, up along the ocean, through the NorCal Mountains, then back down past Mt Lassen into the Sierra Nevada. Good times.

This is Bolinas Ridge btw. It's just north of San Francisco, and the riders in the pics above are looking down on the Pacific Ocean below.

Lunch at the Timber Cove Inn just north of Jenner. Great place for lodging too.

Avenue of the Giants - NorCal's Redwood forests.

Most our riders had never seen anything like it. Trees are nearly 30 stories tall.

Next day along South Fork Mountain Summit. Snow line down to 4500 feet.

They say this has been the coldest and rainiest spring we've had in 25 years.

Never travel anywhere without swinging by a local museum.

Never know what stories are inside.

This is how they got the gold out of the quartz rock. Crushed it, mixed it with mercury, and extracted pure gold.
