Hands down its the ZX-11 back in the day. I remember this dude used to show up on a black ZX-11 with black leathers like ghost rider . Nobody knew him, and he never took his helmet off. He would just wheelie the whole block every Friday nights after the street race.

Had one of these until I wrote it off by carefully placing it under a car that made an ilegall right turn, walked away from the crash to.

Busa motor is a direct descendant of the RF9 motor, so it's all in the family still.....

Have owned two off these fine motorcycles first one straight out of the dealers new in 95 and the second same bike (used) in 2003.the first pic is of the second one owned that is what the Busa replaced.

91 gsx-r 1100 then in 1999 my whole perspective of a motorcycle changed when i rode my friends copper silver hayabusa:thumbsup:

Wow, I don't know where to begin, I have owned so many bikes in the past, dirt, street, but probably when I went from a GS750 to a GS1100E back in 1983, I could not believe the difference in power, I was hooked...

2006 Hayabusa, NOTHING like it.

Grew up on a honda Hawk 1978 then went to a Magna 750 in 1982.
Gave up bikes for 20 years while my kids grew up...bought the Busa
in '06...just riding home I was like...OMG...hooping and hollering in my helmet
with bug eyes.

I made the statement, most incredible thing you could ever put regular gas in.:bowdown:

I've never been quite the same since...

You just told my story. I learned to ride on dirtbikes, but my first streetbike- a 1986 Honda Hawk 400

but the 2006 Busa changed me. Might be the rash I got from my first slip and fall, but the power, THE POWER.....

yea, my 1st sporty
a vfr1000:thumbsup:
bought it in the 90's

I remember when the 85 VF1000R came out, it scared the regular sportbikes, 620# dry. It looked fast just sitting still. I had a 84 GS550ES, but always wanted the big boy.

Flash forward to 1999. After 8 months of looking I found one. I restored her, rode her for a while, then sold her after I won Best 1980's Sportbike in a show. That is when I bought the Busa.

1985 Honda Interceptor series! The first ones I actually got to see while I was still a kid. Then I saw the GSXR's and forgot about Honda..LOL!! But I did own a 1985 Interceptor 500 and would love to find another one. Those things were a blast!!

For me..... the 1st 86 GSXR's

But I ended up with a 84 VFR700.... I was only 17 with a mullet, faded Guess jacket and my white Huey Lewis sun glasses....... I was the sh*t yo.

bought a GS-1100 in 82 first one in my area to have one had a vance and hines header the bike sounded great. Had it five years I loved that bike.

Captain called me yoda once ... now i get called forrest gump... The tragedy of too many beers with vivid memories...Ahh the 900 Ninja.. please forgive my behavior.....

First 2 bikes, fastest for the times. Kawai Mach 1 (1970) and Honda CB 750 (1970) in that order.
