oil pressure gauge

if i were to hook up an oil pressure gauge, would i need anything special (other than the gauge) and what would be the best way to go about it?

you need some kind of adapter to tap into the engine galley some where.

You can simply take a "T" fitting off the oil sending unit.
The larger hex plug is where suzuki attaches their gauge, and they also sell an adapter to fit there if you want to go that route.
