Incase anyone wants to see them here they are.


First pic is whats left of the tree after we took the top out. Tree is rotten. We got the call to remove it after a storm broke the top out and put it in another tree.

Next 2 are some of the rigging I used to get it down, with OUT falling into a building. 3/4inch arbor plex rope it has a 20,000 pound break limit. Also a short section of True Blue, 1/2 arbor rope, Break limit of 10,000 pounds. And a chain fall.

Next is the tree on the ground and my fire wood guy cutting it up. He gets free wood, and i dont have to pay the 35 dollar a ton dump fee lol.. Oh and the last pic os my foot on the stump. Does not look that big, but the ground shook HARD when it hit the ground.

Landlord had several trees removed this year around my house, many with a base looking just like that. Very, very glad she did because after the snow one of them would have been in the living room.
 
Is it the picture or does that dude need a bigger chainsaw! Looks like my daughters Fisher Price from here :laugh:
