Here is my plan:

Yoshimura Carbon Fiber TRS Tri-Oval Full Exhaust: not hard to find so I'm doing fine for this.
cool.gif

Power Commander: There seems to be a lot of debate between Yoshimura EMS and PCIII USB...so needless to say I am totally lost on what to do here.
drooling3.gif

Sliders: Now this gets cool, the gentlemen in the general thread post this really swell site for some sliders that can be installed with no cutting!!! So I'm game. Here's the site if your interested http://teamjayracing.com
cool.gif

NEXT I WOULD LIKE TO INSTALL AN ADJUSTABLE LOWERING KIT FOR THE BIKE, BUT, I CAN'T FIND ONE!!! please help
down.gif

Undertail: Top Gun seems to be the choice here with some clear lenses... I guess texas fairings suck...or so I heard.
crazy.gif

Now here is a sweet little ditty ( and its not about Jack and Diane ) there is a company out of Miami that paints your stock inner panels to match the color of your bike... of course you guys probably allready new that. If you do now about this and have seen the work in person I'd love your feedback on them.

Seat: Now I would like to get a gel seat, but Id like to have the paint match leather embroidered skin on it... is this possible?

Clear turn signals up front.

Hugger: This is just an idea I am flirting with. I would like to find I nice one. I think there is one at eurobikes.com that was decent.

Custom front fender: You guys may have seen it with the ducts that lead to your brakes to keep them cool and matches the intakes. Stop me if I am making a mistake on it.

White Face gage with 'busa character on tach....PLEASE HELP ME FIND THIS.

NEXT IS WHERE I GET A LITTLE CHROME CRAZY!!!!!

CHROME trim dash gauge frame

CHROME trim gas tank cap

CHROME trim crown top

CHROME tank protector

Then I am going to get the frame, swingarm, and wheels dipped. Has anyone got a chromed out 03 silver and grey? I am definitly doing everything listed from the white face gauges up ( 'cept maybe the fenders ) and the chrome thing is kind of just an idea. Tell me if the chrome is a good balance and/or if i should really consider sending something else to get done. Also if you guys have any ideas on the other questions Id appriciate it.

Thanx

Oh yeah, and if I chrome the bike out I want to but a verticle liscence plate/chaine gaurd on to. yeah u guessed it... i cant find it!!!!!

Hey Mattz, sounds like you got a pretty good plan. If you can wait on the lowering part, I may, in a week or so have a perfect set of lowering links and 3/4" Genmar risers for sale. I am getting a new exhaust system and needed to raise it back up to stock. Here is a pic of the bike lowered, just to give you an idea.

I would also like to add about the top gun undertail. I have black streaks on both sides of the undertail from being lowered and coming in contact with the wheel. If you plan on lowering get motorheads undertail; supposed to have room for lowering.

BigBS,

Tobins are a definite!!!!! Very nice seats!!! I really am not looking for the kind of suspension suggested though... just looking for some adjustable links. blue gauges is the way to go thanx!!! Otherwise thanx very much!!!!

Pipe,

I might be looking to go lower than 3/4 in. But the offer will be in the back of my mind. Also where is a quick spot to find the motorhead undertail kit? Thanx for telling about your top gun rubbing.

John,

From what I understand you seem to be the performance man around here!!!! I just have a few more power commander questions to ask you if thats okay. Do both pc break the top speed limit, and what kind of effects does the R version have on casual riders and there bikes.

UU,

You can say that again!!!!

Thanx again everyone!!

Matt

Were can you find a Tobin seat? How do they compare to a Corbin or the Gel seat? Do you have to put the sec look seat covers on your self or send them your seats. Seat covers are a pain to put on and not get any wrinckles.
Hey BigBsBusa you have alot of info do you know were I can find the KATO DAIJIRO memorial helmet the TC6 blue and silver one. I know it is discontinued but someone has to have one out ther somewere?

Matt -

You can find the 1, 2 or 3 hole dogbones almost anywhere. Just find the ones that allow you to drop it where you think you want to. Then there are some straight adjustable links that allow you to determine how much to drop. You will love the Tobins. Style, looks and comfort in one.

Here is the info on the Tobin seats. You can also look up the entire thread by searching for drag seats or PaFreak (member name). Lots of discussion about them. I have a set of Corbins that I haven't ridden yet, but from what I have heard they are very firm and take a while to break in. The gel seats is also one that takes some time to break in and depending on the weather doesn't do as well.

Anyone needing a seat modified give me a call or email. Thanks Tobin

Ok thanks. The genmar risers will lower the front end 3/4" and the muzzy lowering links will lower the rear stock, 1 1/4, and 2 1/2". When I was lowered it was 1 1/4" and the topgun still rubbed. You could possibly stiffen the suspension and not have to worry, which is what I was going to try, buy I ordered a full exhaust system and cannot be lowered when using it. Below is a link for info on Motorhead's undertail.

Pipe,

Thanx a lot man you have been a big help. Allthough I am kinda hatin' cause you have a siver and blue but this silver and grey has really grown on me.

Thanx also BIG, I went and saw the guys at the dealership and they found some "dog bones" for me for about $70. I spent 2 hours there! All I did was BS and look up a few parts. My dealerships got good people there!

I may have some info for you guys. I am posting a seperate thread about this guy who paints the inner panels for ya here is the sight!

www.raceready.us

If you guys do not know this guy he seems pretty cool and if you dont have your inner panel done you should check him out. You send him your panels when hes ready and he will match them with your stock bike color and give them a smooth finish like your cowlings and tank. It has a really clean look and he charges about $289 w/shipping. he will call you so you can send your innerpanels to him when he is ready for them so you can still ride your bike. Let me know if you know anyone who has worked with him and what they think of him. He works out of Miami.

Thanx

hey pipe does this guy paint the motorhead too? I like them i may call the guy. plus he doesnt have a price. do you know?

You shouldn't pay more than $40-50 for dogbones man.
'Gotta agree with LCW on this one, Matt. I hope you got them chromed for $70. I bought a set a couple days ago for $45 with a "Hayabusa" and Kanji engraved in them. Just plain dogbones could have been had for about $30.
