They actually sold the 1150ES in 1984 here as well, then the E version came along in 85 and I believe was sold until 1986. I had a red 85 ES just like the one in your pic.

I had a 1986 Honda VF1000R - They only made them in 1985 & 1986, so 2 years is close to 1 ... right. Sold it restored & show winner for my Busa.
