Went ahead and did mine last night with Mobil synthetic
blend 75/90 Gear Oil. Took a short ride and steering
feels alot more solid. A great Mod at a great price

Thanks for posting this one

22,000 miles since this mod was done in the first week of ownership! 85 weight fork oil! Love it!

Dampers out and oil removed. Yeah!

Can't decide to go with 75-90 snthetic gear oil or 90-145 HD gear oil...

I have both in the garage.

Thanks for the bump.

While I've been waiting... I installed my SS clutch line AND replaced my engine coolant. Next is oil chenge, air filter and SS front brake line.

If nothing by then... I'll just put in the 90-145. I know it's an opinionated question/answer.

did any of you guys use a solvent cleaner inbetween changing the oil??? if so what kind??

i'm having this mod done tomorrow.

thanks!
