thanks for the help GIXERHP and MATHEWRUSSELL52. It was actually a pinched wire by the ignition switch. i think it was gray wire it works the tail light, turn signals and the park lights in the headlight
i got a Gen 2 hayabusa . all of the sudden the turn signals went out and the tail light running light went out and so is the small 194 bulbs in the headlight. when i touch the brakes the tail lights up but wont do anything else. hazards not working. fuses are good. . i checked different forums...
Hey guys , i think i might be doing something wrong here . i did everything to specs; rotor, ecu, harness but it wont start. it throws a c00 code. is there a difference in the rotor 02-07 to the 08 and up rotor? if the 08 and up rotor is installed, could that be why it will not start?
For a 1999-2007 Hayabusa it would make no difference. the ATRE is made for the 2008 and up hayabusa so that the factory gear position sensor does not read 5th gear all the time ( like with the original TRE)
If you have an 1999-2001 Busa with the external fuel pump it could be the fuel lines. they have a tendency of either colasping or kinking . normally if the return is kinked then the fuel pressure will raise and flood the motor . There is also the feed line that has a possibility of kinking...
I've had very similar experiences with my 2000 Busa , My issue was the return fuel line ( smaller diameter) for the external pump was a bit kinked. check the routing of the line or change it. it worked for me
