Okay -- bike comes home this afternoon -- turns out it was the speedo head -- tested with known good one yesterday afternoon -- it worked -- and they found one locally last night
there was a harness on the estimate -- but i think just for the front??
Insurance would not let me fix it myself and collect the money so I am kinda out of the loop -- just want my dang bike back (so maybe a rampaging elephant can get it next week)
well the original was smashed (cluster) but seemed to be working after the incident (well know the tach and gauge sweep worked-- but clouldnt test speedo for obvious reasons)-- the other 2 were used -- so thats not a great test -- there was no damage near the front sprocket with the exception of...
As some or most of you know a tree fell on my bike -- its 95% complete at the shop, but they have tried 3 different gauge clusters and cant get the speedo to work. If anyone has any insight or has gone thru this -- please let me know. :banghead:
you can run multiple evaporators off of one condensing unit -- they are quiet efficient and not intrusive (like a central unit). Most come with remote controls and you can aim the air coming out of them with it.
I used u-ship when I moved from socal back to New Orleans and was very pleased with the guy that did my bike transport.
Ditto on the riding -- it is phenomenal out there !!! I miss the hell out of it
Homeowners will not cover it as the tree was on city property. Vette had liability only -- Busa has full coverage.
Oh did I mention that I am unemployed and flat broke too :(
