    Sport TOURING the Busa

WWJD - That's going to be a long ride and the postings above should be helpful. I live in Phoenix and give guided tours in northern Arizona. An alternative way to get from Flagstaff to Phoenix that won't take you too much out of the way but will cost you a couple or hours is to take HWY 89A...

    Wow..!!

A cami paint job and a couple 50 cals and it could replace the Humvee. Faster, better fuel economy, great for clearing out slow traffic in the fast lane.:p

    Hot Legs

My thighs get very hot if the bike has been out in the sun and I then drive in city traffic. Once I pulled into the nearest parking lot to hop off before I got cooked. The local Aprilia dealer said that's common with metal fuel tanks and that's why they use a composit. I was wondering if a...

    Busa Rider Ages

I'm 50 but agree with Ninja Eater except that just riding a busa makes you younger, though speed helps. I'm going with average age with my 03 busa: (50 +0)/2 = 25;)

    Better Health from Ridin'a Busa

Mental and physical aging are only partially related. Its mostly true that you are only as old as you feel and staying mentally young is possible. Without a physical anchor, however, mental youthfulness is somewhat shallow feeling. I'm passionate about my busa and passion is youth trending. The...

    Ryde or Die Chick

I did a 300 mile day on the original seat solo and found it most comfortable sitting as far back on the front seat as possible where its wider and just just a sweeaty rear. Just did 220 miles with my 11 year old daughter (she loves the busa almost as much as I do). Her legs got stiff and the...

    tecnique vs mods

vincent and jetset have it right for getting down the road or track. Barnes and Nobles carries a number of books on technique. Practice safely, preferably during a track day. corroded alien has it in terms of attaining a higher level of busaness.

    AMA Track Fontana, CA

NICKSLICK: Great video! I did my track day at Firebird Speedway in Phoenix and had a blast but would love to do one on Fontana. I saw about 170 on your speedo; I was only able to get about 130 on our smaller track.:p

    WRECKED

I've been down 3 times. First while I was learning to ride a motorcycle under the guidance of my neighbor. He led me faster than my ability over a hill that dropped and curved right. I locked the rear, got sideways, released the rear and discovered the thrill of a high speed high side. Second...

    Interesting MN Bike Crash Data

With increasing age I need to live by a limited number of guidelines and apply them across a braod spectrum.

This is interesting, and has some potential

Neccesity is the mother of invention. The chase/crash/inocent victim statistics are grim and pursuit policies need a hard look and down scaled application. With cameras at most major intersections and strategic highway locations, simply photo ID will nab most violators not associated with a...

    hayabusa speed

Cool movies. While I was in Barnes and Nobles today I noticed that the Britt magazine "Fast Bike" has a fastest bike feature including the busa but at $11 I left it on the stand and the magazine is wrapped so I didn't get to preview it either.
