I have an XD 40 compact (4 inch), Xd 40 Sub Compact (my CC gun), and an XD45 Compact. So in response to your post Yes... You are Right.... And Absolutely correct.....

My 07 Busa had to have the whole right side panel replaced. Couldn't see it but the paint was peeling off due to bad paint at the factory. They replaced it no problem. And yes I did ask if I could have the old fairing. And of course the answer was no. Lol

Take it in. I even bought the extended warranty. The paint was peeling on my side fairing. They ordered a new one no charge. My dealership has really taken care of me after the sale. Bill
