no power commander and nothing done but the 4 to 1 full akrapovic exhaust. stock wheels and rubber. all i have done is the 17 43 tooth. im still at a loss on what could be doing this. what rpm should i be at when in top gear doing say 55mph
ok so yes 4-1, im 6'4" tall and 300lbs. plugs are new and stock air filter looked clean, tires are running good psi, dont know if the computer is redone i changed it with one that came off of a stock bike seems to be the same mpg.
so no matter how i ride i get 22mpg and dont know what to do. im running a 17t and a 43t. other then that it only has exhaust done. im trying to figure out what i can do to make that number come up.
from a machinist point of view i would rather not thin out the shift lever and have it stap off on a hard shift just my point of view. i also think they make them that thick for a reason. i found another way and it works but im glad you have found something that works for you.
i did mine on a gen 1 and im concerned with the removal of stuff on the shift lever. i bent my kick stand and cut 1" off of it to make the lean more to the left. ill get a vid soon.
ok so i did the same mod and lowered my shifter lever. now it hits the kickstand. is there a kickstand that will be out of the way and still lets me get under my shifter?
ok so the pump works and is omg sweet.
so you have to make a screen in the bottom. also i had a ground not working right.
20 amp fuse works good.
this pump made the bike have way more pep then before.
i found this. would a 20 melt the wire?
Min Voltage Input: 6 volts
Max Voltage Input: 18 volts
Current Draw (40 psi): 12 amps (13.5v)
Current Draw (80 psi): 15 amps (13.5v)
this is going in a 2003 busa.
ok so i got this pump and it fits but just barely. i have bench tested it to make sure it works all is good form the plug to the pump off of a batt.
the problem is im blowing the 10amp fuse when i plug it all in and use the bike.
so the question is what is...
ok so after all this time i have finally got the problem solved. looks like it was off on the timing and it was both cams off one tooth. everything looked right but when the shop looked at it thats what they came up with. you guys where right and i just couldn't see it. thanks for all the help...
ok so today i found out that my valves are not shimed right. me and the bro are going to shim them and see if the psi comes up. he said i did the test wrong and im only at 90. i keep going till i got a max he did 2 revs. not much but so far its what i got.
if they are then what do you think it would be? i know i need more then 140 psi book calls for 170+ up to 220's. also says 128psi is the lowest that it should be before its blown. thats only 12psi off.
would the cams make me have bad psi? the timing is 100% on the money. there is one small nick...
