You shouldn't have to modify (cut or trim) anything. I have a set of Roaring Toyz 4-8 inch extensions on my '08 and the brake part that use to rest in the stock right side swingarm bracket, now just rest against the inside of my right extension. No problems here with it moving at all when braking.

Basically an oil change and they look over the bike (supposed to anyway) to make sure everything (bolts, ect) are not loose. I've always done mine myself. Keep your money in your pocket. IMO

She handles good. I really can't tell it's stretched 6 inches at all.

Yep mine is rubbing. I have mine stretch 6 inches and lowered 2 inches in back and 1 inch in the front. She only rubs with a passenger on the back. I'm 180lbs and my passenger about 170lbs or so (she's not fat, just thick :laugh:) You might not have a problem with rubbing if your bike isn't...

Man all I can say is kudos to Kawasaki for making an all around great bike. Suzuki can do the same thing, and now they will be forced to. This time around they just can't give us small enhancements and expect to top Kawasaki. Suzuki is going to have to dive deep into R&D on the Gen III Busa.

Word there. The Busa lost, but still imo held it's own for what it's worth. The 14 will beat us, but not just totally destroy us. The 14 was one and a half bike lengths ahead every time.

Sounds like a plan. Is it hard to replace the spring. I will have my shop do it, I just want to get an idea how's it's done. Do you have paypal?

Do you guys no where I can buy a heavy duty spring for my rear shock on '08 Busa? Do I have to replace the entire shock? I need to stiffen up the rear suspension with my 6" over swingarm extentions.

Yep, you are right about that. The fairing is real thin with a lot of open spaces at the bottom by the headers and ect. At the bottom by the front wheel, there is just one push-pin holding both sides together. This probably saves some weight though. Real nice bike IMO.

We went out today to a desolate road and ran some drag races and roll ons. My one friend has an '08 Busa like mine (stretched, lowered, and pipe) and my other friend has a stock 2012 ZX14R (lowered, with a pipe). Each race, whether it was from a roll-on at 40mph or standing start, the Busa would...

A buddy of mine just bought a 2012 ZX14 and it is a nice bike. Suzuki needs to step up its game. I like the traction control on the bike which allows you to put the power to the ground without wheeling or spinning out. From my knowledge Suzuki doesn't even have this tech on any bike.
